Fans of Justin Bieber are going to be very happy today, because rumor has it he’s broken up with Selena Gomez.

According to Celebuzz, Justin Bieber, 18, posted a cryptic tweet (that has since been removed) about breaking up and moving from Selena, 19.

Justin Bieber tweeted the following on May 18, 2012 and removed it shortly thereafter:

“thank you for the time i had with you but i have to move on now…”

Yep, he must move on. What else could he do? Sure, they make a cute couple, but they can make a cute couple with someone else. They both have their whole lives in front of them. If they plan it right, their careers may last well into their twenties, which is more than a lot of former child stars can say.

Farewell Justin and Selena. Next time, date someone with a name that can easily be morphed into your name, like Justina (Justin + Kristina/Tina).
