Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer play lovers on screen in the HBO hit series True Blood, but they’re married in real life and are about to have a baby of their own!
According to the Daily Mail, Anna, 29, and Stephen, 42, announced that their little bundle of joy will be due sometime in the fall. This is the first child for the couple, however this will be the third child for Stephen, who has two children from a previous relationship.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect because filming for Season 5 of True Blood, which premieres on June 10th, is basically over. In other words, a growing baby bump won’t interfere with Sookie Stackhouses’ ability to kick butt.
Speaking of kicking butt, have you seen the new teaser videos for Season 5? I just watched them all and it seems pretty clear that the buried vampire king of Mississippi, Russell Edgington is coming back to haunt, or better yet, get his revenge against Eric Northman and Bill Compton.
Unlike Game of Thrones, I’ve actually read every single Sookie Stackhouse book written by Charlaine Harris, but the producers of True Blood are not following the book series. Therefore, it’s very hard for me to provide you with any spoilers, because even I have no clue what is going to happen.
Based on past seasons, it’s pretty easy to guess that Sookie will get the crap beaten out of her, there will be some sort of love triangle between her, Eric, and Bill. Tara will annoy the crap out of everyone will her incessant crying and Lafayette will lighten the mood with his great one liners.
Anyway, enough about True Blood. Congratulations to Anna and Stephen!
