Police Believe Madeline McCann Is Alive

Back in 2007, a little girl named Madeline McCann vanished from her hotel room in Portugal while her parents had dinner merely 50 feet away. Investigators were unable to locate the little girl, but now police reveal that they believe she is still alive despite allegations that her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, killed her.

According to RadarOnline, Metropolitan Police in London believe Madeline, who was 3-years-old at the time, was abducted and they are now pursuing over 200 leads in order to help find her.

“[We are] seeking to bring closure to the case,” Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood told the BBC. For the first time since the investigation began into Madeleine’s disappearance — dubbed Operation Grange – police say that as a result of evidence uncovered during their latest review, they now believe there is a possibility the girl is still alive. Police did not give any further information as to why they came to that conclusion.

“I am satisfied that the systems and processes that we are bringing to this set of circumstances will give us the best opportunity to find those investigative opportunities that we can then present to our colleagues in Portugal,” Redwood said.

The police have revealed a photo of what they believe Madeline may look like today.

Hopefully Madeline is found so her parents can finally get their baby back and be cleared of all doubt that they are the ones responsible for her disappearance.
