What Steve Jobs Has In Store For TV
October 26, 2011
Steve Jobs may have passed away, but his dreams are still alive and well as rumors of a newly integrated Apple TV have begun to swirl in the tech world.
According to the Daily Mail, Steve has “re-imagined” the Apple TV, a device that you use to stream video from the internet (or your other Apple products) to your TV screen.
Before Steve died, he said the new Apple TV system “will have the simplest user interface you could imagine.”
The current user interface is pretty simple, but Steve always looked ahead and found ways to make great products even greater.
Last year, the Wall Street Journal suggested that Apple was working on a plan to “launch a subscription TV service,” which we assume would allow users to watch streaming video of their favorite TV programs anytime they want.
This is great news because right now, streaming video options are limited. If these rumblings are true, we have a feeling Apple TV will be a huge hit for Apple.
Consumer experts suggest that the new device could hit selves this time next year or in the early part of 2013.
It’s great to see that Steve’s visions are still coming to fruition.
