Watch A Sneak Peek Of ‘Ghost Hunters’

In tonight’s new episode of Ghost Hunters titled “Murdered Matron,” the team travels to Staten Island, New York to investigate a retirement facility for decrepit sailors called Sailor’s Snug Harbor.

Tonight’s special guest will be NBC News correspondent Meredith Vieira.  She will join the rest of the TAPS team as they investigate a legendary murder at the Matron’s Cottage. According to the legend, all women at the retirement facility lived in wha’ts now referred to as the Matron’s Cottage. Back in the late 1800′s the Matron of the house got pregnant by one of the sailors. Being an unwed pregnant woman back then was not accepted, so the Matron is said to have chained up her son in the basement until he escaped and killed her at the age of 13. The boy is said to have been hanged from a tree near the Matron house after killing his mother.

People claim to hear chains rattling in the basement, disembodied voices, and have even seen objects moving on their own.

Hopefully they were able to capture some solid evidence.
