Bravo Is Playing It Safe
September 6, 2011
In the wake of Russell Armstrong’s death, Bravo execs have decided to play it safe this season.
According to Page Six, Bravo execs were thinking of re-casting the Real Housewives of New York because they felt the story had become boring. But after Russell’s death from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the network is rethinking their strategy.
“The last thing they [Bravo] need right now are more surprises,” a source said. “The first one to get axed is going to write a book, and these girls know the secrets of production. The show’s still working on some level, even if Bravo is tired of the story lines.” A Bravo rep said, “Production was pushed, as we are finalizing some details for the new season. The cast will be notified once shooting is about to commence.”
So it looks like Jill Zarin and the other ladies from the Real Housewives of New York will return to the small screen again. Hopefully some of them work on their images a little more.
What do you think?
