Tornado Victims Finally Find Dog

A family who lost their home and their dog when a massive tornado struck Joplin, Missouri got some good news: their dog was found alive!

According to CNN, the Woods family tried to get their dog Roxie to follow them into a safe room before the deadly tornado struck their home, but were unable to. The poor dog was left outside to fend for itself.

Once the tornado passed, Frank Woods surveyed the damage and assumed his beloved dog had died. He was wrong. Roxie was spotted by an oil rig worker over 2 miles away from the Woods home. The man called for help and the dog was later reunited with his family.

Hopefully that never happens again!
